Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium

You may be aware of the Pupil Premium, a Government led initiative that provides additional school funding based on children who are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) or children of service personnel.

Schools are free to spend this additional funding as they see fit and are held accountable as to how the money is used. We are also required to make public a summary of how the funding has been allocated.

For more information on the Pupil Premium, please visit the Government website.

The Pupil Premium Grant (PPG)

  • was adopted from care on or after 30 December 2005
  • has a special guardianship order
  • has a residence order

£300.00 for each pupil whose parents are in the Armed Services

£300.00 for each pupil who is registered as eligible for Early Years Pupil Premium.
